My brother has been diagnosed atopic and had skin dryness since 12 years old. He's always put stuff on his body to help moisten his skin since then.

At 17, freshman in college, away from home he suffered a full body large scale attack of scaling and flaking.
Dermatologists tried creams, injections, oral steroids, UV lamps, scraping, none worked.
My mother turned to chinese medicine, to a doctor who neither spoke nor wrote any english. The chinese doctor gave a prescription in chinese characters, my mother went to a chinese drug store, got the ingredients which I remember included snake skin. My brother then drank this concoction for 1 whole week.
In 1 full month of pain and seeming horror, my brother's skin molted like a snake. From head to toe, his skin peeled off including his palms and under his feet! It was excruciating. But it worked! My brother had relative peace for a couple of years.
But the dryness went back and he again resorted to his mosturizing thing. He would have these ugly bumps now and then all over his body. And his skin seemed leathery, thick, dark and his pores enlarged.
Suddenly by the end of April 2006 at age 25, acne bumps loaded with pus started appearing all over his body. He was there when I cured my own eczema, he knows I am on to something. And being genetically closest to his own sure helps.
Acne as discussed in my previous article is a problem of Blood Toxicity and Vicarious Elimination. My initial solution was to help his body relieve it of the toxins it wished to expel. His skin had grown thick and the pus had a problem being let out. We bought hypodermic needles and had his girlfriend painstakingly prick each and every "pimple" from his body to let the pus out. I asked him to use a pail of the hottest water he could stand to let the pus seep out there and be disinfected at the same time. To make doubly sure, we got hydrogen peroxide on the now open pimple wounds to be sure. I immediately put him on the 60 day detox diet and hired a cook. I also gave him oil of oregano everyday 1 capsule under the tongue and 1 capsule massaged through his spine. I also had him rub and attach fresh garlic under his feet for an added anti-biotic.
I left my brother and his girlfriend in seeming good progress of pricking on a Saturday. But it was summer and his new apartment had problems with circulation, and I think his thick skin and condition had him hard of breathing in mid afternoon. He and his girlfriend decided to go to a hospital emergency room and without my knowledge or advice had himself admitted to a room. Maybe the stress was too much for him. Or he just forgot to drink enough water, or the room was too hot. Maybe it was exhaustion. Working 60 hours a week and sleeping a mere 4 to 5 hours per day is just too much.
I went in the evening to visit him and check on his hospital treatment. They wanted to give him oral anti-biotics, fine with me. But the dermatologist assigned to him by the health insurance wanted him to take oral steroids. I said no. My brother said no. And he had himself discharged against medical advice. Meaning the health insurance was not paying. We did not care, we have had enough of steroids, and my brother needed his immune system working at full strength. In 2 short days, we were out of there.
I noted 1 last factor that could possibly be the key to all this. Petroleum jelly. Seemed innocent enough, but I know now that it is the culprit. It has been with him for 8 years. Petroleum on his skin. Absorbing petroleum through his skin. Blocking moisture from escaping. Blocking air from his pores. Not allowing his skin to breath. That explains the enlarged pores. That is why his skin has become dependent. Petroleum jelly was polluting my brother constantly. This was the final straw and his body decided to go for one last PUSH! Acne to detoxify his body!
Then I also thought of colon cleanse. He previously had a liver flush, but no stones came out. Maybe he needed more, but then, no cholesterol muck either came out. So maybe his colon was plugged up, unclean. We decided to go to the anthroposophic doctor Divina Hey, get her input and get a referal to the colon cleanse center.
She gave him a shot of calcium carbonium, had a slew of anthroposphic medicines, a replacement for petroleum jelly and I also gave virgin coconut oil.
The following day, my brother lost no time and went to have his first colon cleanse. He said he unloaded quite a lot of dirt. This was a friday. On monday, he was back at work!
I saw him yesterday, tuesday, his face was clearing up, his hands were clearing up, his feet could wear shoes now. Everything seems to be in subsiding mode.
I will report again here every week on his condition and progress.
I am willing to bet we have finally cured him. Only time will tell.
